I am still smiling! EZ-PZ!
Look no further if you need to replace your York/Emerson AC Fan Motor #K55HXKWA-9803 HP ¼. This item was an exact match, including the wire mollett making the job so easy. I am a 75 year old woman and was able to install this new motor in 15 minutes! Fortunately after removing the set screw I was able to separate the fan from the motor stem (didn't need fan puller ) and because the wiring is a "plug and play" (molett) the job was so quick & easy. I didn't replace the capacitor because I did it 4-months ago during a tune up. So don't hesitate ordering this motor and I promise there shouldn't be any swearing or even dirty hands.

Fit in unit without any issue
Motor is OEM, and fit well back on unit, electrical plug was correct and allowed easy install to replace old unit.
New motor should have ball bearings instead of sleeve bearings for longer life.
