Exactly what I was looking for
I do a lot of transitions from PB to Uponor and this is exactly what I needed.

Less expensive option works just as well
I used this fitting on a re-pipe in a mobile home in a location where it wasn't convenient to replace all of the old PB pipe. The fitting worked well, but I don't think its worth the price at over 10 times the expense of a plastic standard pex crimp fitting because you still need a crimping tool to attach the PB pipe. You can make two crimps just as easy as one and the old PB pipe will always be the weakest link.

Q: I am replumbing my house with uponor pex and am comfortable with the propex installation procedure. But I have one connection at the main service which appears to be 3/4 PB. What is the procedure for securing this fitting to the PB?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe pex side is a standard propex connection, however the PB side must be crimped. You would need a 3/4" crimp ring and the appropriate tool.
