The Best Tape Around- Forget about duct tape...

Cant beat this tape.. I have tried them all and self tested tapes for adhesion, strength, elasticity, hot and cold weather and this tape sticks to anything and wont give up in extreme cold (snow and rain!) and heat! It is thin and conformable and when you use a roller to laminate it, it will adhere and fuse to the bonding substrate and wont delaminate or crack! The acrylic adhesive and the polypropelene backing is a winning combination! The bonus is you get twice as much tape (330 Ft.!) for the price of a roll of duct tape that only has 160 ft.

I would NOT buy this again.

It LOOKS like silver tin tape, but it's not. It is SUPER thin plastic tape. Like packaging tape. Can't rip it have to cut it or poke it with a knife. Can't shape it at the end of the duct. If it gets cut, it rips all the way to the side or end. Just say no and get yourself some red letter tin tape.

Great IRC code tape....great quality But,..its a lot of tape

I bought 2 rolls of this tape thinking it had a paper backing that had to be peeled off before installation as you see with some other 181 foil tapes. It is not not which reduces the time of installation by a wide margin. It's a very sticky tape and will go a very long way before running out. I am installing all new ductwork and hvac in a house I'm renovating. I know for a fact that I will still have a lot of tape left from my 1st roll. I must say that the tape is well made and of good quality and is working as designed for my ductwork and code inspection.

High quality

Tape is thin, but durable. Seals ducts well. Just used today- don't know how it holds up over time, but I expect it to last well.

Product Q&A

1 Question

ASK A QUESTION

Q: I have a roll of your tape and have used it to seal an exhaust duct leaving my pellet stove. I used the stove for the first time and it filled the house with a toxic smell. There are no numbers on the tape to ID it, but it is called CW (cold weather formula). Is this the appropriate tape for hot ducts?

The service temperature listed for that tape is from -40 to 185 °F. However with that toxic smell you are describing I would contact the manufacturer immediately and try not to run the stove until you do just to make sure there is no danger. Venture Tape 1-800-343-1076
