Works like a charm
I wasn't sure based on the online description of this product so I called the 800 number at the top of the website and explained what I needed and they said that indeed this was the part I was needing. I added a bathroom on to my house and I have a manibloc pex manifold in my basement with both 1/2" and 3/8" ports. After running all 1/2" pex pipe for my new bathroom I discovered that the only ports that were left to use on the manibloc system was 3/8" ports and fittings. This product worked great to crimp to 1/2" pex pipe and then thread on to my 3/8" manibloc supply port. Worked great!

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis fitting is designed to connect 1/2" nominal PEX (.475" ID/.625" OD) to Manablocs designed for 3/8" nominal PEX compression connections. There is no PEX that has an inside diameter of exactly 1/2".
