Threads should end with a 1/4 inch of unthreaded area. So as to leave room for the tool to get around connector. As is if you thread in tight to radiator, you can't get the crimp tool to seat. Had to raise radiator crimp piece of pex on the 90 then thread on. Put in floor an use connector to continue. Cannot crimp after threading in. Caused holes in ceiling below or more holes in floor.
Nice idea but caused me more time and money as holes were drilled after threading in connector. When pex placed in could not get a clean crimp.

Easy to use product
I used this product to hook up a tub/shower-it installed in a breeze and I appreciated how smoothly everything went for a first time installer.
