Quick and Easy Way to Drain a Line
Frustrated by frost-free sill cocks, I installed these on tees outboard of isolation valves along supply lines to outdoor faucets and other utilities. Winterizing is the same single manipulation. With correct pitch on the lines, outlets can remain open for additional security. And the caps are a convenient means to avoid inadvertent valve manipulation. The GH threads simplify attaching a drain down leader.
