The first time I did the maintenance on my boiler. Previous maintenance was performed by a service company that never replaced the insulation. So the screws for the burner unit sheared off the original cover. The swap took 10 minutes. My only complaint was the amount of shipping material.

During the annual boiler service and cleaning it was discovered the cover plate had a crack and the inside insulation piece was no longer in place. Cover Plate Kit included a brand new cover plate, gasket and insulation piece. Needed to remove the burner element from the old plate and attach to the new. Kit even included new nuts for this. Weil-McLain parts are very expensive and would expect a better discount from Supply House. I would still order again.

This fit well on an Ultra 155 series 2. It's just sad that one of the threaded inserts (that hold on the burner) went on the original one and the only choice was to buy a brand new cover since there wasn't really anything wrong with the original cover except for that failed insert.

Fit fine. Be sure to torque according to maintenance manual and use correct tightening sequence.

Had to replace the plate as the original one had studs that broke off during the annual service.
