Maintenance Of 105 Ultra Gas Boiler
After 3.5 years from installation, it was time to clean the heat exchanger on my 105 Gas Boiler (the
manufacturer recommends this be done once a year).
This maintenance kit is needed to replace worn gaskets and other items and is a must to have if the gas heating chamber is opened. Gaskets needed replacing and the maintenance repair went well with this kit.

Next time I buy ordinary substitute gasket material
The replacement seal kit for the front door works fine but it is expensive for the little bit of simple gasket material it includes. Next time, I will buy suitable standard gasket material.

Purchased for HVAC Maintenance
At my HVAC repair person's request, I always purchased this product for the annual cleaning. My guy retired and I had to find a new company to service my boiler -- I went ahead and ordered the kit after the first company didn't understand what the annual maintenance required (and tried to sell me a new boiler). The kit has everything needed for the annual maintenance and Supply House gets it out quickly. Added benefit - Weil-McLain has a YouTube video that explains each step.... which I provided to the HVAC company I ended up hiring for the maintenance this year. Do not let ANYONE work on your Ultra without this kit or if they don't know they need this kit.

Kit was what I needed
Kit came complete and quickly. Price went up some from previous year .All gaskets fit fine. Noticed the gasket material for the burner has changed in construction material to now using a fine metal mesh covering .

The product is fairly self explanatory
Easy to install - cleaning the chamber before installing took 2 hours - but no maintenance for 15 years will do that . Next cleaning will be easier.

I have a Ultra 80 boiler and this kit works great, as far as a 105 I could not say yes, but by what my manual says bout both the 80 and 105 I would think it would work, its a great kit and gives you everything you need to complete the service, even extra nuts and studs, I have used three of these kits so far and have to order another one for my service with no problems, another thing to consider is to order the flat tool to clean between the fins when servicing the exchanger, or you can make one out of stainless steel Sent from my iPhone
