Normally about .80 gal per hour at a constant run, depending on the nozzle size installed. Sent from my iPad
Broad question, how long does it run per hour? the nozzle determines how much fuel is used, a one gal per hr nozzle uses one gal. if it runs 30 min half gal, etc, my unit runs approximately 6 minutes every 50 min on average for heat, with a outside temp around 15 - 20 degrees, 2000 square ft home, I also have a small wood stove in the down stairs running at night, which I use about 2 1/2 cords of hard wood per year. I use approx, 300 - 350 gal per year, thats hot water for the summer months also. hope this help.
Yes, it does.
If you mean a controller to activate the burner, switched from the thermostat- YES. It came with a hightech digital controller with easy controls LEDs and a LWCO.
Mine came with the Beckett Genisys 7505 primary control. It was fully wired with a Weil Mclain plugin quick connect harness attached. I did have a problem with the old wiring harness on the WGO 3 boiler not matching the new wiring harness. Wire colors were being crossed over at the quick connect plug. The boiler is about 13 years old so something may have changed in the plug/harness design. A new boiler would probably match up ok. I would say be careful and make sure you check that all the wires are running where they should with a meter.
I am not sure what is meant by controler primary, but if you buy both everything neededis included to set up and run
The boiler comes with a combination high and low limit control Also built in is a low water cut off all with digital Read out it has A Thermostat terminal for one stat but for more zones you will Need a zone switch relay. You will only get the primary control If you buy the burner unit this should be a must if you buy the Boiler. They are designed for each outer and should be bought as a unit. I got the Beckett and it has saved me a lot in oil William J Thompson Sent from my iPhone
You will want to use the Weil-Mclain SGO-3 boiler for steam.
This burner will work with a Weil-Mclain WTGO-3 boiler.
This burner can heat hot water if it is used in conjunction with a WTGO-3 boiler with tankless water heater.
This part is only the burner. It must be used with the WGO-3 (100,000 BTU), WTGO-3 (100,000 BTU), or SGO-3 (85,000 BTU) boilers.
According to the manufacturer, the energy saving levels are as follows: 86.4% for the WGO-3, 85.3% for the WTGO-3 and 84.1% for the SGO-3.
