Great furnace great price
Installation took about 30 minutes. She fired right up with no issues. The only issue was shipping took a minute longer then I expected, but ordering it during the holiday season 🎄 probably had a lot to do with that.

It is a Beckett, say no more!!!
I hope this one is as good as the I installed 35 years ago. Only replaced the aquastat and the safety relay over 35 years of use. The motor and fuel pump still going strong after 35 years of use. Like I said it is a Beckett.
Will not be installed until May 2025.

Good burner. Easy to install. Came mostly adjusted.
Good burner. Much quieter than my old burner/boiler. Still loud but most of this is the actual flame of the oil. Came mostly adjusted for proper burning. I did slightly adjust the air intake. Easy to install. Just mount, hook up the oil and plug the harness into the new Weil McClain SGO4 boiler.

Easy install and set up
One of the easiest setups I have ever done. Installed in boiler, hooked up fuel line and connectors turned unit on and it fired and ran as expected.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis part is just the Beckett GO-4 AFG burner. It is compatible with Weil-McLain WGO-4, WTGO-4, and SGO-4 boilers (which must be purchased separately).

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe SGO-4 boiler has an AUFE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) of 84%. This is above the minimum federal standard, but just short of the 85% required to achieve Energy Star status. This means that the boiler will use 84% of fuel energy to heat the home, while releasing the remaining 16% through the chimney.

Q: was given a quote for Beckett Burnett AFG WFT04 but am confused as I thought we were getting Wells McLean....can someone explain and also the BTU output for this boiler?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffBeckett manufactures the oil burners for the Weil McLain WGO, WTGO, and SGO boilers. The output for the boiler is 126,000 BTUs.

Q: GO-4 does not seem to be a model used by Beckett. Can you tell me which Becket Burner this is? I am trying to find out if my Beckett Model AFG will work on a WGO-4 that I expect to purchase from PEX.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffBeckett is the manufacturer for this burner, however GO-4 is not a model number used by Beckett. The GO-4 is used only by Weil Mclain. This model will work on the WGO-4 boiler.
