This is the second of this model gauge purchased for use on a radiant floor control panel. These gauges replaced another brand where both gauges began leaking. These gauges are a great value and have proven reliable.
The only con is the setting the red needle is not easy.

Imprecise
This gauge has a big, easy to read dial and it's not exhorbitantly priced, but it reads temperature inconsistently and flutters and jumps 10 degrees F if it's lightly tapped. The pressure readings, however, are consistent, don't flutter and align with the other system gauges (which are better quality) within +/- 5%. It's installed on a Peerless boiler and operates in an ambient indoor temperature of 60F +/-. I like to keep my heating and cooling systems finely tuned and maintained, so this piece of equipment does not meet my needs. Unfortunately, I've found this type of quality to be average these days, so I gave it three stars to be as fair as possible.

The problem is, Weil-McLain return process is cumbersome.
The problem is, Weil-McLain (W/M) return process is cumbersome if it's defective. I had one of these gauges showing 28 psi right out of the box. Clearly defective. I thought I could simply return it for replacement/refund to SupplyHouse.com (SH) but not so fast. You have to go through a lengthy process over the phone and email receipts of original defective gauge invoice, plus the replacement unit invoice to W/M. And you must provide them with the SN of the boiler it was going to be installed into (which is silly as the old boiler has nothing to do with the gauge in this case). Then get a claim # generated before SH will process the return. I would consider an alternative brand if the application allows so.

Exact Part I needed for repair
The ideal part that I needed to repair my boiler. The service was great and I received it very quickly. Additionally, Supply House price was the lowest I found for this part. I will defiantly use them again when I need any pluming supplies.

Q: I have a weil mclain combo gauge that is 3 1/2 in. long from the back of the gauge to the tip of the probe. Is that length available? Everything else seems to match up with the one I have
