Yes, But I Hope I Don't Have To....
This is the second one I ordered and it worked great! The first one that arrived was defective. It was sent from Weil McLain and they put up some resistance to me returning it. I sent images of it in a pan of water at varying temperatures with a thermometer and a multimeter showing that it was not working. Supply House Honored it and refunded my money for the first one.

The Temperature Control came.. it's easy to swap with the old one that went out. However, the new controler is off by about 10 degres. so if i want the water in the boiler to be @ 180 i have to move the adjuster to 190. My water temp guages are new, and I also used my digital meter, both point out to a bad controler that i just got it. It's not a big deal to me, will swap with the new one again, once winter is over.

Easy to install and works perfectly. The arrows don't match the temp, but it is only a bit off. I left at the default setting that it came with, and it matched up with my dials to be 180 degrees.

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse Staffif you leave the original well in place and just swap the unit NO. if your also swapping out the well, YES you should drain the system or water will come out.

Q: Is Weil Mclain 510-312-250 high limit control a suitable replacement for a Honeywell L4080D high limit Aquastat control? This is installed on a Bryant hydronic heating system.

Q: My temp control on my boiler is set at 170 and the temp has to drop down to 120 before it comes back on is this a normal operating range?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffNo, this is not a normal operating range. For a normal operating range, you want to have a 20 degree difference. For example, if the temperature control on your boiler is set at 170 degrees F, the temperature should drop down to about 150 degrees F before coming back on.
