I would purchase this product again, hopefully not soon...
I have had two indirect water heaters over the past 30 years, I can say without a doubt the is the best one I have ever purchased/ installed. The construction on this tank is far superior to my old ones, however I don't know what Weil-McLain was thinking by using the AcuTemp temperature control. It has zero adjustability for a differential, says it uses an algorithm to automatically set it, and all is does is short cycle my boiler.... After heavy hot water usage like filling up a spa tub, it uses the same differential setting like you're using minimal amount of water. After heavy usage I have to cycle power to it to get it back on track. Plan on getting yourself a good aquastat to go with this outstanding water heater.

Q: Can you adjust the differential on the thermostat for this unit? I set the set temp can be selected, but I dont see what the differential is or if it adjustable. If it is adjustable, what is the range of adjustment?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHello GB, thank you for writing in. For the Aqua-Plus 85 the differential does not need to be set. The thermostat’s advanced software algorithm determines the optimum temperature to initiate heat calls.
