OEM part, high quality, low price!
Quick and simple install. Everything you need is in the bag. Exact same parts as what I replaced. Very affordable compared to what it costs for a plumber or electrician. I cleaned everything up with isopropyl and a rag before hand since there was some rust, dust, and crud left over from a leaky hose incident. Solved my boiler overheating problem caused by a corroded thermostat after a leak that got into the thermostat well. I caulked the panel with clear silicone in hopes of avoiding this in the future. Don't forget to check the system temperature and pressure afterward to make sure it's in your desired range. The stock default setting was still a tad warmer than it needs to be for my system so I dialed it down.

Failed after three months
The thermostat failed after three months. Water temperature exceeded 150 degrees when set at lowest setting. One year guarantee was honored however I am still waiting for credit due on defective unit which was returned over two weeks ago.

Weil Mclain Gold 40+ hot water tank. This product is discontinued, but SupplyHouse had the right part. Furnace kept short cycling and it turned out to be the Aquastat in the holding tank. Fairly easy install, but if you're not confident with trying yourself, it shouldn't take a professional more than 15 minutes or so.

No you do not. The end of the well, inside the boiler jacket it sealed.

You do not need to drain the tank. The robe goes into a thermowell. Its an easy install.

I actually Have a kit on the shelf , It has the thermostat ,Knob and a new decal for the cover plate, decal with the SKU # and new rivets to attach the cover

This kit includes the stat switch, a new label indicating the temp range, and the bulb. My stat doesn't adjust the temp, it only cuts out at a higher than normal temp. It allows the water to get hotter than 120. It is the second one from PexSupply that I have installed and they both don't work properly, but it does cut out with the switch at the lowest setting so I am living with it. I am an electrician so I know it is installed properly.
