Looks the same but Beckett label now, rating discrepancy?
When I use heating-oil spin-on filters, I've always preferred these Westwood F100-10 filter elements. This is the second one I've ordered fairly recently that came through with the Beckett name on the carton and spin-on canister. They are apparently being Made in India now according to the latest carton nomenclature. I know outsourcing is a thing, but my main concern here is that the carton or box says 29 GPH maximum flow rate while the spin-on metal canister (element) says 17 GPH rating. Which is it? Big difference! I am considering this rating for purposes of pumping many GPH in two-pipe hookups, to filter remaining tank oil in a changeover scenario, etc. The older Westwood F100-10 says 29 GPH max on the filter canister as well as the carton, while these Beckett versions also warn of possible leaks if not changed annually! Really? First time I'm hearing that. Have to do with Biofuel issues?

Mine leaked around the seal
Not sure why but it leaked around the seal but never went over the lip of the filter. Overtightened likely.
