I was disappointed by the operation of this thermostat
The temperature differential between on and off was about 4 degrees on cooling. I am returning it ang have ordered a Pro Non-Programmable digital type to replace the mechanical one.

I tried various programmer thermostats with my Gas package unit. The unit would run constantly throughout the day without turning off. After installing the mechanical thermostat and selecting a set point, the unit operates fine.

I ordered this exact thermostat online 3 years ago. It was about $40. I cannot remember from whom I bought it from, but I want to say it was from the manufacturer themselves. I would say to just google it up, but you certainly can buy the exact replacement.

Yes, I use this very one on heat pumps all the time. It has a “B” and “O” terminal one of which you hook on your wire that goes to the reversing valve. Find the wire in the old unit that hooks to the B or O terminal and just hook it to the B or O terminal on this one.

No. For a heat pump you need a thermostat designed for a heat pump. These thermostats have a terminal for the reversing valve and an emergency heat option. Sent from my iPad

Q: I currently have two separate thermostats one for heat and one for cooling. Can this thermostat replace both of them as one unit? Current wiring is Heat is RW and cooling is RWG.
