Seems the thermostat makers left behind a large number of people who just want a simple to use, affordable product, with basic features that works well. This easy to install thermostat does just that. Perfect for common single stage systems. No difficult programming and it has push to connect wiring tabs. Get one or several and start making a profit again on thermostats.

The directions were somewhat confusing. They all called for a bypass wire to be installed and I didn't need it. Still had to call my air condition repair man to come and hook it up correctly.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffAs stated in the manual on page 5: "Select Temperature Display Adjustment 4 LO to 4 HI - Allows you to adjust the room temperature display up to 4° higher or lower. Your thermostat was accurately calibrated at the factory but you have the option to change the display temperature to match your previous thermostat. The current or adjusted room temperature will be displayed on the display."

Q: why does my air condishiner run about 15 minutes more after it shows the same temp.as the setting. I had a programable one for a long time & it didn't do this, untill I changed it (model 63123) type no. 1f80-51-----a plumer put it in, after I smelled smoke in this programable one..

The temp displayed is not exactly the same than the setting. The display shows a rounded value: for example 69.7 is showed as 70. But your air cond. will stop at 70.0. Gaétan Fauteux Cel.:***.****
