There is a small door on the top of the unit that slides off and you insert new batteries in the top. Sent from my iPhone
As stated in the manual on page 5: "Select Temperature Display Adjustment 4 LO to 4 HI - Allows you to adjust the room temperature display up to 4° higher or lower. Your thermostat was accurately calibrated at the factory but you have the option to change the display temperature to match your previous thermostat. The current or adjusted room temperature will be displayed on the display."
The temp displayed is not exactly the same than the setting. The display shows a rounded value: for example 69.7 is showed as 70. But your air cond. will stop at 70.0. Gaétan Fauteux Cel.:***.****
I have the same one as you and mine run a few minutes after it reaches the right temp. but not for 15 minutes. are you sure its 15 or 5 minutes. Jimmy
Yes, it does. See menu reference number 4 on page 4 of the following manual: http://s3.pexsupply.com/manuals/1259005173370/19734_PROD_FILE.pdf
According to the manufacturer, you should reset the thermostat and check the wiring.
