Part # Confusion
Verify you received the correct part. It appears that there is some inventory issues and you might receive a TTD404 (which has a 2.5" plastic lens & ring and 1/4" NPT connection) instead of the TTD402 (which has a 3.0" glass lens with Stainless Steel ring and 1/2" NPT connection). The label on the bottom of the box says TTD402 but the bar code (628311000023) and Tridicator is a TTD404. I notified Customer Service and now I just noticed that there is additional confusing information in the description of this product. Check the Specs and the product information attachment to insure the correct item is received.
As far as the TTD404 goes, it appears to be a decent temp/pressure gauge and is working fine but had to use a reducing bushing to convert from the 1/2" to the 1/4" NPT.

This was a drop in replacement for the old gauge on my boiler, which decided to perma-stick at 15psi. I wasn't happy replacing an old "Made in Holland" gauge with a "Made in China" one, but I didn't really have a choice. It works. I've only had it about a month, so I have no idea how long it will last. It's easy to read, and was easy to install. It appears to be accurate, based on the fact that the pressure shows the same as the regular valve is set to, and the temperature displayed matches what the boiler limit switch is set to when it shuts off. What else is there to say? Time will tell if this is good or not.
