will buy again.

I put this in a cottage that has a crawl space. Very easy to work with, much easier the trying to wrap after the fact. Cost more, but worth it in the reduced labor.

Good idea, needs minor improvement

A prime use case for this stuff is chilled water retrofits in old buildings, with metal lathe stucco walls. The insulation gets all chewed up in these cases. It needs to be made with something like the K-Flex insulation so that this isn't as much of an issue, But, otherwise a great product.

What a time saver

If you need insulated Pex-A this is the product. No way it is better to insulate after installation.

Easy to work with

Used the tubing to run glycol drops to bright tanks in a beverage processing plant. Easy to use. Coil memory was minimal. Installation was quick.

I like it.

Yeah it's not cheap. but now in our area all hot water lines under the slab have to be insulated. Most of my new builds are slab on grade. This is much quicker and easier than putting on split insulation. Plus it's a better end product for the customer imo.

Easy to Install

Just completed installing 3/4" Pre-Insulated AquaPEX in my residence yesterday. Used it in 6" wide trenches cut in concrete floors in a 2000 SF home remodel.

ASK A QUESTION

Q: Can you use your RIFENG CRIMP FITTINGS with a Watts Crimp Tool for installation of this product. Does all the half inch tubing you sell work with any half inch crimp fittings.

Rifeng crimp fittings will work with the Watts crimp tool. Any 1/2" PEX we sell (except for PEX-AL-PEX) will work with 1/2" crimp fittings.

Q: What is the best method to cut away the insulation without damaging the pipe? Is a special cutter required, or will a cutter with a multi-layered attachment do the job properly?

No special cutter is required; you can just use a utility knife. Just be careful not to nick the tubing.

Q: how low of temps can this insulated pipe handle?

The PEX tubing is freeze-resistant, but not freeze proof. The tubing will expand at freezing point but only to a certain extent. It is usually dependent on your location, and installation method as well.

Q: what pex fittings can you use with the tubing 1 1/4" thank you

For the 1-1/4" sized tubing you would have to use ProPEX fittings. The only tool that accommodates this size tubing is the electric expander tool, and the 1-1/4" head would have to be purchased separately.

Q: What type of pipe clamps or hangers would one use to secure the pre-insulated pex tubing since the outside diameter is enlarged by the insulation?
