Q: Do you apply this sealant around the silicone sealing gasket of each z-vent lll component before tighting the gear clamp?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis product minimizes the amount of rain water trickling down the pipe when used inside the storm collar before clamping. It keeps moisture from entering behind the termination when applied on the back of a flush mounted termination. The sealant should not to be used when joining Z-Vent pipe together.
