Nice quality Tri-check valve
Installed 2 of these in my dual pump sump pit. Seems to be well built with good quality. Only time will tell for sure.
It does have a small clunk when closing. My pump lift is less than 8 feet. I think the clunk sounds normal and I think it's good to hear it close. I give it a 4 out 5.

Product was totally ineffective
Check valve was defective. Pump was pumping but pressure could not open check valve. It was installed correctly. After running for about 45 seconds the pump pressure finally managed to push it open, however, I temporarily replaced it with a cheaper version to test the system. Pump works fine with the temporary check valve.

This item is used when you hook up a sump pump. It allows the plumbing disconnect with just one fitting and keeps the water from flowing back into the sump and unto you. I can't imagine changing a sump pump without the use of this inexpensive product.
