Warehouse Associate (Columbus)

Full-time position

Do you prefer jobs that require you to be active over those that ask you to remain seated for most of the day? Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment? We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our warehouse team and help us prepare orders for our customers.

You will get to work with our awesome team for 40 hours a week! Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week), with 2 days off each week. 

The available positions in the warehouse include:

  • Picking - gathering items from the shelves to fulfill customer orders using an RF scan gun.
  • Packing - printing labels and packaging materials to get them ready for shipment.
  • Receiving - checking in material from purchase orders and putting them away in the appropriate location/s.

Senior Computer Systems Analyst (Reno)

Full-time position

EMPLOYER: Boys Nevada LLC

LOCATION: Reno, Nevada

HOURS:40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00

DUTIES: Review project requirements from business users to verify requirement feasibility. Validate project scope and suggest adjustments if necessary to deployment timeline including, but not limited to splitting into phases of deployment, separating requirements into multiple projects and linking with existing projects. Evaluate third party technology required for project implementation wherever applicable. Coordinate with third parties during deployment. Plan and oversee project deployment to production environments in order to ensure stability and optimized performance. Manage branches within the code repository to implement and maintain larger projects. Merge code (between branches and the baseline version) in the code repository to integrate large projects into production. Review designs created by junior programmers and provide feedback on areas to improve. Suggest implementation techniques and design patterns that may be more suitable and optimal for project performance. Conduct code reviews on projects once completed by developers to ensure code meets standards established by the organization. Improve code efficiency and suggest necessary changes to comply with e-commerce standards wherever applicable. Ensure all corner cases are covered by developers during the testing phase of projects. Create and maintain programming guidelines and high-level documentation to direct development processes. Provide technical input to the coo regarding network and system architecture in both production and testing environments, to cover web servers, application servers, load balancers, firewalls, and databases.

REQTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered or as a Java Developer, or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with: reading and building code written in Java HTML, Javascript, CSS and XML; writing, reading, and executing SQL queries; installing programming environment and tools including IDE, Ant, Tomcat and JDK; locating and reading log files; writing and executing UNIX commands; Apache Ofbiz ERP; Knighted Warehouse Management System (WMS); Endeca Search Engine; Perl and Shell scripting; and creating and running batch jobs. Pre- or post-Master’s degree experience is acceptable. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field of study plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered or a related position. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.

Business Operations Intern (Melville)

Full-time position

SupplyHouse.com, an innovative ecommerce company, is looking for a business operations intern to join our team for the summer! This individual will collaborate across departments to drive company-wide improvements to existing processes as they work alongside our talented BizOps team.

What is BizOps?

  • The business operations team helps turn high-level business goals into new offerings for our customers and internal teams
  • The team helps identify bugs and opportunities on our website and internal software—then researches, designs, and documents solutions to address them

Internship Goals:

  • Have an overall understanding of the project process – from the discovery phase, to requirement writing, to project managing, testing and launching
  • Work alongside the different roles that make up our BizOps team – learn, ask questions, and experience their responsibilities
  • Participate in internal creative brainstorms

Videographer Intern (Melville)

Full-time position

SupplyHouse.com, an innovative ecommerce company, is looking for a videographer intern to join our marketing team for the summer! This individual will gain valuable experience learning from our in house videographer, working alongside our innovative marketing team, and exercising creative freedom on a variety of projects.

The Day to Day:

  • Produce descriptive videos about our products (pre-production, shooting, editing).
  • Produce short videos for social media posts.
  • Assist in the filming and editing on a variety of larger scale projects.
  • Film various company events as main or secondary camera.
  • Create a variety of in house video projects to be shown in meetings or events.
  • Brainstorm and formulate ideas for local or national ad campaigns.
  • Produce live video broadcasts.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program in film and video editing or related field
