Description

**Requires Crimping Tool.

Please Note:
  • Supply adapters must be purchased separately and are required to install this product.
  • Mounting straps are optional and are sold separately.
  • The 10-year warranty only applies if this MANABLOC is installed with all Viega products.
PEX Crimp MANABLOCs provide a home-run distribution manifold for the plumbing system. These MANABLOCs utilize either 3/8" or 1/2" distribution lines. Each MANABLOC comes factory pre-assembled with color coded hot and cold ports.

**Important**
  • The MANABLOC plumbing system carries a maximum pressure/temperature rating of 100 psi @ 180°F. Excessive pressure to the MANABLOC will cause leaks.
  • Do not allow chemicals such as PVC glues or solder flux to come into contact with the MANABLOC. They will compromise the integrity of the MANABLOC and cause leaks.
  • Please consult the MANABLOC install instructions for a more comprehensive list of chemical materials that will cause harm to the MANABLOC plumbing system.

so good so far, 1 month

re plumbed the entire house to fully functional in 8hrs. will need to fine tune some pex routing later. love that you can change ports on a whim. little upset it's all plastic and cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. I have a basement window I hope doesn't degrade the plastic from indirect light. the plastic nipples are a slight let down too, as I used brass everywhere else where there was a crimp required. overall I think it's a good product. allows for easy expansion and reconfiguration.

Product failed less than two years with limited use

I installed this in the summer of 2019 in an old house doing a restoration. The house water system only consists of one mini hot water tank, two hot water lines and four cold water lines. I drained the block when I leave the site in the summer upon my return. This year when I returned the hot water in both outlets is limited warm with almost an alternating effect of warm and cold. Checked the hot water tank and no problems there. The only issue left is the manablock itself. It appears that there is a failure internally. It's in a basement but temps should not get below freezing even if it had water in it. It is drained each year and left open just in case. Probably have less than 1000 gallons of water put through the device. Very disappointed.

Beware fitting for in and out

I cant say enough good things about Suppyhouse. Thank you for the service provided. Very easy to work with but be aware fittings are not included for main hot and cold and cap on bottom. if you are not installing secound manifold. If you are diy person and not a plumbing expert.

Manabloc

Probably the second best invention since Pex tubing. Great for new construction and really helpful in older homes where you want to cut off only a fixture group for repairs. Since older homes have a greater likelihood of repairs needed for each bathroom, you can isolate one bathroom and leave the rest of the house pressurized.

Needs special adapter

Had to replace one of these that busted when it froze. Ordered a replacement and when it came in I couldn't connect it to the pecks lines that were in the house without purchasing a special adapter it was not mentioned in any of the paperwork. Box came with adapters for the outlets which are MIP But didn't come with adapters for the inlets which are proprietary

Yes

Replaced the cpvc water lines under the house with pex lines, the Manabloc worked fine controlling water as I hooked up the connections one by one.

These are great. Repeat customer!

I put one in my house with my tankless six years ago. Only complaint is that one of the unused ports leaks...just a drip, but still. I called to see about warranty or something, I was told unused ports should be capped. Liked it enough I bought one for my daughters house when re-plumbing two years ago, and just bought another for work being done in my aunts house.

Really like the design of the product.

Plumb my bardominium by myself. Was really easy and quick and I'm 64 years old. Saved myself $1000's in plumbing cost.

Great Product

Re-piping 70's recent purchase cape due to lead solder leaching from copper pipes due to acidic well water. Planning future additions/renovations. Brought in plumbers for quotes, all planned trunk and tee. Clueless on a manifold design approach for future adds and deletes with planned renovations... Currently re-piping myself and like the simplicity and ease of adding and deleting pipes.

There are no 3/4" port options available for manablocs. All 3/4" runs would have to be teed from the supply lines.
