The tab is not offset to slide into the housing as identified in the instructions. However, the housing is tight enough that I could lock it in place and it functions. Hopefully it does not slip down the road.

Honeywell is reputable
This replacement motor failed after a few months. Supplyhouse stood behind the Honeywell 1 year warranty and provided me with a replacement quickly.

I use this type alot, and will continue.
I use it for floor heat zones. Recently found that it will work on weil-mclain wmb 155c wall mount boilers! The supplier couldn't get a warranty replacement, so i experimented with other parts.😎

Q: what is the dif. between an "E" 8043 zone valve and a "V" series

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe "V" stands for roman numeral 5. The V8043E5012 and V8043E1012 have the same 24V motor, but not at 120V. For 120V, you use the V4043 and its replacement motor is the 802360LA.
