Good purchase, the exact part needed.
Pilot outage happened numerous times even after I did a good vacuum and cleaning of the air intake openings and flame arrestor. Most likely due to a malfunction TCO. So I purchased this pilot assembly for my water heater (AO Smith GVR 40 100). The part was exact. The problem did not occur after the replacement.
The pilot assembly was packed in its own box (3 items in my order) and came with detailed printouts of Installation Instructions, Technical Bulletin and Cleaning Instructions. They were great!
Although the shipping was not particularly fast, the packing was well-done. Very protective and showing care that it was intended to arrive in good condition. And it did.
Will purchase from SupplyHouse.com again. Recommended.

nothing against supplyhouse, but these do not last for me. replacing approx 18-24mo on water heaters in 1 particular building. perhaps they are not the correct application for my use, but thats the way the water heaters were set up. my guess is the failure with the over temp sensor that is inline with the thermocouple. New assemblies work fine, so do not believe the heaters to be creating an overtemp condition. would like to find this assembly without the inline sensor to compare lifespan.

I would buy this product again.
We recently ran out of hot water during the winter month of January. Our unit is 10+ years old. We closed on our home a year ago. After talking to a bunch of different companies...we almost went with everyone's suggestion of getting a new unit which would have cost us about $1200. Luckily I found a match for our unit for the pilot assembly. Ordered it..fingers crossed this would work and there you have it. What saved us $1200 cost us less than $100 and we were able to fix our hot water unit ourselves. Will definitely continue business with Supply house.

This is a great product. Not all of our customers have a regular maintenance on their gas water heaters, which means the air intake gets blocked causing the limit disc on the thermal couple opens. Only way to fix that problem is to replace the pilot assembly.
I always have one of these in stock.

Perfect replacement, quick delivery and easy installation
I have an 2005 A.O. Smith Promax GVR 30 100 where the pilot would not stay on. Ordered this at 4pm Pacific time and received this kit the next day. Installation was quick and easy and got hot water restored in under an hour.

The lend of the screen can be cut down to fitter the water heater also keep in mine this screen is only on air filter for the flame and is no needs to be complete air titer.
