Service was fast . The only problem was the old one would not come out and had to replace the entire water heater. I wish I could send back I purchased but will keep them because they were not used, thank you

Not what I pulled out
This rod was the Manufacturer part number but the rod I pulled out was about a foot longer. Could have gone with the longer one or longer than that because I have the room. Old rod was 15 years old and just a wire. I will get the longer one in a couple years when this one is done.

Good Quality Anode Rod
We have two water heaters that have been in service 10 years. As an investment to increase the useful life of those water heaters we replace the anode rods every 3 years. The old rods removed are found to be near the end of their life when replaced. Additional maintenance performed is to drain and flush each year.

Q: Do these anode rods replace specific sizes of HW Heaters, or can they be used for 50 gallon, 75 gallon, etc. Which would be a replacement for the 75 gallon?
