Intimidating to look at; easy to install.
Licensed plumber here. My client surprised me with his purchase of a Takagi tankless water heater, unaware of its need for a separately-purchased vent kit. As a noob to Takagi's proprietary ventilation system, I was a bit daunted by the online search for, and the appearance of, this vent kit - but thanks to a smooth order process from supplyhouse.com, I found it to be absolutely intuitive & easy to install, using very few tools. Quick tips: the hole through the wall requires a 6" diameter holesaw. Have a 5/16" nut driver handy for the several hose clamps, and seal around the vent penetration adequately using spray foam, RTV sealant, and outdoor-rated screws to secure the exterior portion of the vent to the house. Lastly, be sure to run your condensate hose, which is included in this kit, into an approved drain or pump as customary (see pics). That's it! Easy-peazy. The unit runs great! Hope this helps.

This is literally everything you need to install the takagi
Contains every part you need to install the Takagi in concentric configuration. Was a great price since buying all these components separate was going to be almost double! They should just offer this as an add-on to the actual unit to limit any confusion on what you need. I gave 4 stars because some parts were pretty bent when I received the package, and the back flow preventer had even fallen out of the pipe and was a pain to get it back in properly. But props to the company for getting this out to me in 2 days.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffIf it's a non condensing unit, very little. The drain is there to protect the unit from any potential condensation that could drip back and damage the internals.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThis kit is AL29-4C stainless steel. It is a concentric termination, with the exhaust pipe inside of the intake air pipe so should meet requirements for installation through a combustible wall, but check with local code for any additional requirements.
