Great Response from the Supply House Folks
I'm a DiYer and have taken care of maintaining my oil boiler for many years. Had an issue with the old ignition transformer. To make a long story short, I found Supply House (now bookmarked), found the ignition transformer I needed (they provided the perfect amount of information needed to make an informed decision), the price was competitive, and the one-day turnaround from Long Island to the Hudson Valley with normal shipping charges was outstanding. They did what they said they would do. Impressive.

It was great while it lasted
But in less than THREE years it was too weak to send spark- so I put the 37 year old transformer back on the burner and bought another one of these as a spare.

Howdy, that should fit the Carlin model 100. There are 2 types 14,000 solid state and the older type 10,000 earth. The 14,000 solid state only weights about 2lbs and is the newer type and the 10,000 earth weights about 10lbs. Either on will work on the Carlin, I have had better luck with the 10,000 they seem to last long but I do like the 14,000 for the hotter spark. Hope this is of some help. Joey
