Went from a 40 gallon (25 + years) to an 80 gallon. Plenty of water and so far the heater does not come on as much trying to meet the demand of the water tank heat. Like the digital controls also.

So far so good
I was worried when I received the product because the specs in the Supply House description said it was 49" high, but the box is 67" high, and the unit, as pictured is 63" high, which would not fit easily in our available space. Well, the tank itself is 49" high, and we were able to make it fit by cutting away some of the plastic hood around the piping and rerouting some of the plumbing from our previous unit.
The instructions are tolerably clear for such things. They recommend a circulation pump on the boiler supply, but we installed without one and just let the circulation on the boiler system handle it. So far we've had no problems with heat recovery.With 80 gallons supplying two bathrooms and the washing machine, we have plenty of hot water.
The digital controls for this unit are great, easy for anyone to adjust, which is good because the factory-set temperature of 120 degrees is too low.
