Fix leaking core under full pressure!!
Was able to change two leaking cores under full system pressure. Make sure you grab some new valve cores when you order. Sku VVC-1 worked great with this tool and stopped the leaks!! I was able to change the first core on the first try, the second took a few minute's. The tool has an adjustable tip which helped but also keep the tool loose on valve as the o-ring was preventing me from pulling out the old core. After a few try's and adjusting i got the second core changed out

Appion Quality Has Gone Downhill
I ordered two of these and as always, supplyhouse delivered quickly. However, I tried pulling vacuum with both of them and neither one of them would hold vacuum. So, I put pressure on them and found both of them leaking. I've sent both of them back to appion for repair,

Terrible, tip of them do not work, it's a hit or miss with these, bend super easy while I was trying to remove Schrader.

Must Own Tool!
If you install/maintain HVAC/Refrigeration systems valve core removal tools are a must and Appion makes a solid/robust tool for a great price!

Core Tool
Great product, used to vacuum down mini split. Used a 5/16 core tool to pull the core and 1/4 to that to isolated the vacuum gauge. No issues.

Decent
Holds tight vacuum, seals nicely to threads. Plunger seal holds good. Valve core "tongs" kind of suck, no matter the tension adjustment it's hard to grab 'em and half the time I've ended up "burping" the valve open quickly to shoot out the core. If that wasn't an option it would be much more frustrating.
