This Aqua-Pure sediment cartridge is made from an exclusive Progressive Porosity process that entangles and entraps larger sediment particles toward the outer diameter and progressively smaller particles toward the cartridge core. This allows even loading for maximum cartridge life. In addition, the unique square-grooved surface provides more sediment-trapping surface area than ever before. Unlike string-wound and pleated paper cartridges, the rigid, sturdy construction of the Aqua-Pure cartridges are able to withstand variations in water pressure.

Best price found ...period
I could only purchase Aqua-Pure filters in my area from a plumbing specialty store for big money. So, I searched the internet and compared prices from many websites. SupplyHouse had the best price, shipped quickly, and I have the same product that I was paying 3x for from the local specialty store.

Great Filter.
I use this to filter the water coming from my underground spring and it works great. It doesn't change the taste or adds chemicals to the water which is what I wanted.
