Description

The Streaker is ideal for neutralizing condensate from condensing boilers and furnaces operating on natural gas or propane. The condensate is acidic and has the potential to harm the environment and the sewer system. The Streaker will raise the pH of the condensate to a more neutral level before it is discharged to drain.

I would buy this again
I replaced the old one that was installed on my 2018 tankless water heater. The old one was ALMOST identical, and I thought it would be a quicky install due to both ends having unions. Not so. The old one has 1/2 inch unions and the new one has 3/4 inch unions. So, I had to cut both ends of the piping to have it step up from my 1/2 inch to their 3/4 inch pipe and glue in new fittings to accept the new unions. Hopefully by the next time I have to replace this unit, it won't change again in dimensions.

I would not buy this product again
When I spoke to Customer Service they told me this item would fit with the Noritz brand which is the brand of my tankless water heater. It looks the same but the ends of the tube do not fit in the current set up. Very Disappointing. This neutralizer kit did NOT fit the Nortiz tankless water heater.

Exactly what I needed
I set this up for Goodman 98% efficient furnace. Works like a charm. The system is set to drain into a pump that pumps the neutralized condensate 8 ft up and 30 ft across the ceiling to a drain.
Installation is easy, some plumbing knowledge is needed as fittings are needed and one rule is nothing is ever one size.
But this has been flawless.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Annie! The neutralizing media should be replaced when the pH level drops below the minimum level of the local water authority, or after one year, whichever comes first.
