Hello; By utilizing the "size verification instructions" that can be found by clicking on the product shown on your site (Pexsupply.com). Product example would be the "BB001-24 2' DIY Baseboard Heater Cover" and, to get there just site search for "Heater cover." While viewing the product look below for the tab labeled "Manuals" and, you will find a "PDF" for the "size verification instructions." While this may not give you the dimensions you're looking for I found it to be quite exacting. The product did the trick and, it looks beautiful. I believe that there may be a video about it from "This Old House" or "You Tube." The "Coupling" is designed to join two lengths in a run. And, you don't even notice it is there if you are joining two pieces. The purpose was to replace the "Ugly" of the older baseboards and, it does that exceptionally. The situation that I had was relative to a house built in the "forties." What they did then was to recess the baseboard below the sheetrock, essentially attaching the baseboard cover directly to the studs. I believe the concept then may have been to create an insulating barrier by allowing some heat to enter the wall cavity. So, since there was a half inch of sheetrock sitting on top of the existing baseboard cover that would make it difficult to just slip it over the top of that cover. A test of the movement of the existing finned piping showed there was enough free-play to allow the sheetrock to extend to the floor. That put the existing heater cover on the surface of the wall and, allowed for the easy installation of the new cover over the old. End result warmest room in the house. If you are looking to see how wide the CP001 is I believe that dimension is two inches. I hope this was helpful to you.
The DIY baseboard heater covers all have the same dimensions, but they are available in different lengths. These couplers work with the covers in any length.
These covers can be painted. The exterior is an epoxy-based powder coat.
