The piece will fit just a little loose, I would think a little caulk would do the job as long as the corner does not get too hot.
My inside corner piece snapped into place in one corner and almost did in another, based on the angle of the walls. Since no one ever goes in the corners at my house, I didn't think too much about it.
The corner piece has a hole pre-drilled in the bottom lip. I drilled a second hole on the opposite corner and then screwed 1/2" long machine screws (small bolt and nut would work too) up from the bottom in both holes. The grate now fits snugly behind the screw and everything holds tightly in place. The bottom lip ought to have a lip for the grates just like the end caps have.
This part measure approximately 7 3/4" tall.
The inside corner measures 2-1/2" on the top and tapers to 3". This inside corner will fit with any of the following baseboard heater covers: http://www.pexsupply.com/Baseboard-Heater-Covers-1517000
