This product must be installed by a qualified and licensed contractor using properly calibrated combustion test equipment. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in significant property damage, serious personal injury, or death.
Features:
- 20 kV peak rating guarantees quick and efficient ignition.
- Small size and lightweight (approx. 1.1 lbs.).
- A vacuum encapsulation process using a synthetic resin provides resistance to moisture and excellent heat dissipation and electrical insulation.
- Case material is a high-temperature thermoplastic that provides high impact strength and scratch resistance, and is impenetrable to most chemicals.
- Adapts to multiple baseplates--making it the most versatile unit on the market...it will also fit on many other vendors' transformer baseplates.
- Case design has 'breakout' sections at the rear and side for lead wire exit and a hood to neatly cover and protect these wires where required.

Replacement igniter for Beckett burner
This is the recommended igniter for the AF and AFG Burner. It replaces the much larger transformer based igniter. It is supposed to provide a higher level of spark, but unlike its transformer predecessor, it is very suseptible to damage from line disturbances. I have replaced multiple electronic igniters that failed. This was not my previous experience with transformer based igniters. Wished Becket would have kept their previous design.

Exact Replacement
This was an exact replacement igniter for the Beckett burner which has less than 8000 hours of operation. In my experience that is mediocre performance but it is the exact replacement unit.

Great Spark From This Unit
My customer's boiler would fail to fire randomly. The issue was the transformer on his unit did not supply a sufficient spark. i replace it with this unit, which delivered a spark that jumped almost 3 inches. As usual, Supply House's price was more than fair and delivery was quick.
