Correct part delivered quickly
My original pump was 16 or 16 years old and had been getting louder for a few years. It developed a new, more severe whine and I found and ordered a new one from Supply House. The replacement was identical to the original and was delivered on time. I had gotten used to how loud the old pump was and can barely hear the new one. It works as expected, these pumps are more expensive but extremely reliable. 16 winters pumping 180 degree water from my stove to the house every time my furnace called for heat seems pretty reliable to me.

First pump was defective
The bearings were shot. Loud after a few weeks. Had to trade-in for a replacement. Maybe I was send a pump that had been returned.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe pump body can be either vertical or horizontal, however the motor shaft should be horizontal, with the junction box on top.
