The Series HFT tank is designed to absorb the force of thermal expansion of heating water and to maintain proper pressurization in a closed hydronic system. The heavy duty butyl diaphragm separates system water from the air in the tank preventing water logging problems.
The HydroClaw Expansion Tank Support Bracket provides a safe and reliable option if you prefer to mount your expansion tank. This expansion tank bracket is easy to install and will hold any tank with a diameter of 13" nominal.

Q: Would you confirm the height of this tank? It's listed as only a couple inches taller than a 4.4 gallon tank yet has a capacity of 3.2 gallons more?
