Very secure attractive bracket
This is a very secure and attractive bracket. I used it to hold a ST-12 expansion tank. Most other brackets have a lot of sharp edges and would probably attract spiders, but this one is clean, smooth and looks good.

Nice product, but expensive.
Used these as a time-saver on a commercial product with multiple potable storage tanks, each requiring it's own expansion tank. The brackets made the expansion tanks quick and easy to install, and the final plumbing/ product looked very professional.
The price is high though, for a bracket that could have been "piecemealed" for a fraction of the cost using common materials and supports.

Excellent product
I used it to wall mount a 4 gallon RO product tank in my utility room. The tank is the same diameter as an expansion tank so it fits perfectly and allowed me to do the cleanest install I could think up. It is rock solid mounted to the concrete with some drop ins.

Product works great
I'm hanging an Amtrol 30-EX expansion tank as part of a condensing boiler system. Old tank started taking on water, HydroClaw clamp did its job keeping weight off of copper fittings. Essential product if you have copper fittings.

Very well designed and very sturdy.
In the pictures on line it honestly looks very flimsy and I wasn't sure it would hold a full tank. I was very surprised to find that it is built lake a bank vault and fit like a glove. I would highly recommend this product.

I install the extrol #30 in a remote location by using the Hydroclaw mounted to a wall near the boiler…eliminating the tank too close or over the boiler.

love it.
Simply beats the pants off all of the other goofy ways to secure an expansion tank. The rubber insulator is nice, the frame is solid, and if the tank were to receive a hard knock or blow, it's so secure that it wouldn't strain any of the connections. You can use the weld on the expansion tank to have the expansion tank to slide into the Hydro Claw, and then come to rest on the gasket before you do the final tighten. Makes the whole installation very manageable.

I will say this..... we are in the process of testing the bracket for weather exposure now. The bracket is zinc oxide coated and so far we have had the bracket in the weater for quite a few months. I think my brother has had it outside for almost 9 months. If you are still looking at doing this I think you would be OK for quite a long time.
