Description

B & G type Low Pressure BPX brazed plate heat exchangers offer the highest level of thermal efficiency and durability in a compact, low cost unit. These are ideal for applications that require 150 PSIG or less. The corrugated plate design provides very high heat transfer coefficients, resulting in a more compact design. The unit's stainless steel plates are vacuum brazed together to form a durable, integral piece.

Works like a champ
It's amazing that something this size can move so much heat - even I was a little skeptical.
The only downside which is very minimal and possibly a feature they would add is a couple of ears or tabs or something to support or attach it other than just the pipes themselves. The concern is that it will transfer vibrations right into the exchanger. It is a very minimal concern and not something to change a purchasing decision it would just be nice to have.

Yup I'd buy it sgain
I use it to preheat going to the water heater from my boiler. Works great and great flow. Water heater hasn't kicked on once sense.

Excellent way to heat a hot tub!
I like the small size. Very efficient.
The heat exchanger was used to heat a hot tub with an outside furnace. Worked very well!
