We recommend the installation of all Bluefin Ductless Split Systems to be done by a licensed, trained & qualified HVAC technician with the proper knowledge and background. A trained technician will be able to judge the best location for the air handling (evaporator) unit and also the correct size for the area it has to cool.
Should you experience an issue during the installation or the initial startup, please contact the technician that installed the units to troubleshoot with the Bluefin team. Bluefin cannot accept any service or warranty calls from anybody but a HVAC technician.
Please refer to our limited warranty policy for more details and how to submit a warranty claim.

Problem with thermostat.
The unit runs great, but when I have it set to 70 degrees it keeps running and I have to shut off unit at 65 degrees because it is to cold in house.

Nice looking wall unit
I am retiring when R410A units are no longer available. At the time of this review, Bluefin still has a few 18 and 24K systems. I installed 4 of them so far and they perform as well as the name brands. As with many of the "big name" systems, the pipes are too short and we sometimes need to extend them prior to mounting the wall unit. Also, the wifi module is not factory installed and requires removing the cabinet for installation - a poor design in that regard. So far, I haven't been able to obtain a parts list or a service manual - that and the short pipes is why they only get 4 stars.
