Brass Bushing
I restore vintage gas pumps and I use a lot of brass fitting that I polish to make my pumps look better. Pex has the items I need in stock and I have them very fast. What else could you ask for? Thanks Pex for all your help.

Sorry to say, this product failed- causing a leak
I installed this product on a 1" flo-chek valve, and it "made-up" all the way without tightening properly (didn't have a back-up part, so had to use it to get the heat on). Filled the system and pressurized it, and the threads leaked and it was not a surprise.
Came back later, shut down system, isolated component and removed it.
Installed another bushing from another manufacturer and it installed properly- no leaks, showing it was not the female threads that were at fault.
The entire production run of this part should be viewed with suspicion and maybe even scrapped.

Extremely rough threads
I can see why all the other reviews complain about leaks - the threads on both sides of this are extremely rough. More than one works not thread correctly for me without damage.

ordered 20 and 8 leaked
One might say operator error but I trust our 20 year vet plumber. Not sure if perhaps they were threaded too deep but we had some leakers. I plan to change them and send them back for refund but we have to shut down 8 large residential units housing 150 families each. Thats going to take some time to circle back.

This is the right solution for a problem
I was necking down for a 3/4" street elbow in bronze to a tight fit, this saved me 3" of space compared to other approaches. Well made, no excess casting debris.
It's a special fitting for a special need but SupplyHouse delivered.

This fitting was of poor quality.. The threads where all nicked up and the chinese casting was terrible. Did it work, yes (with extra thread tape).. Would I but it again, not a chance..

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffUnfortunately no, Cello does not offer a fitting in the size requested. Bushings are typically reducer fittings, so it would have to be two different sizes on either end of the connection.
