1" Push-Fit Ball Valve with Drain (Lead Free)

I got a several of these and they work great. I've also gotten a lot of the other Bluefin push fit fittings, and they've all worked just as good as the ones from Sharkbite. The only thing to be cautious of is making sure there's no deep abrasions on the pipe that will lead to a leak, and making sure that the pipe is fully inserted, but that goes for Sharkbite as well. I noticed the last person who reviewed this wrote their review four years ago, I'm not sure if they've changed the way they make the fittings, but I'm a master plumber and I've been using bluefins fittings for a while now, and i haven't had any issues with any of them leaking, or developing leaks

I installed this Push-Fit ball valve on 1" BlueFin tubing that tied into my main water line for a sprinkler system. I prepped and installed the fitting correctly, using PEX cutters, measuring/marking and inserting the tube accordingly. After hooking up one side and turning the water back on there were initially no leaks (ball valve closed). A few hours later, I went to hook up the other side of the valve and it immediately started leaking, spraying out water all over the place. I could not get it to stop, so I turned the water off and just removed. Bottom line is, I just don't trust it. All the other SharkBite (brand name) Push-Fit fittings I have in the house work and don't leak. The BlueFin fittings are sub-par so far, as I have another one installed that has started a very slow and small leak. Proceed with caution!
