1-1/2" PEX Full Port Ball Valve (Lead Free)

I used this valve for a main water line replacement on the private side of a residential project I was working on. Solid ball valve when installed when crimped with 1-1/2" Pex B Copper rings (also purchased from supply house). I've standardized on using this fitting for all of the water main projects from here on out. You may ask why 1-1/2" inch water service when a typical residential service is either 5/8" or 3/4" or maybe sometimes 1" for higher end or multifamily units. I was working to solve a major pressure drop issue at the last plumbing fixture and traced the issue back to the main water line. Using the general energy equation determined that pressure dropped by over 50% when it reached the last fixture, best solution was to reduce the Energy loss in pipes due to friction by enlarging the Main Incoming line. Water flow was severely impacted when someone else is utilizing a shower or flush a toilet or even wash clothes. Water line was enlarged from a crumbling 1/2" Galvanized pipe and upsized to 1-1/2" Pex B line. As a result Pressure drop has reduced to ~5 to 10% during hard use.
