Not what I was expecting
I wanted a heater with a timer so people wouldn't leave it on all the time. That's what I thought I was getting. But this has a second dial, a thermostat that if you set it, stays on even when the timer has expired. So you expect it to turn off and it doesn't. I removed the knob from the thermostat and covered it with a blank plate.

This is a very good heater
I used this heater to replace an older 1950s era heater and like this one a lot.
The installation was easy and the timer function is a plus. Our bathroom is about 90 square feet and the heater is good for that space. It is a supplement to the whole house heat so this heater adds that extra bit of comfort.

Good brand but this model has weak heat/fan output
Pros: good for very, very small bathroom like a single toilet area not any bigger than 5 square feet Cons: takes long to heat up and barely puts out heat, the fan is weak, the first one never worked and had defective fan/motor and was returned and replaced with the same heater at no charge, the replacement heater works but would not buy it again. I've seen other small Cadet models that have a stronger fan and heat output that is immediate.The timer is noisy - much like an old fashioned kitchen timer - and does not turn off the unit when the timer goes off.

Set at 120v
I have been using this in a 6'x8' bathroom for about a month now. Set at 120v and it works wonderful. Quiet but powerful. Just what the space needed to supplement the steam radiator. The timer feature was primarily the reason I went with this unit and no disappointments.
