Q: Could this unit be used in a high humidity area like a pool house swim spa?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Bill! The SoftHeat Hydronic Baseboards are not recommended for high humidity areas. While the outside is powder coated to protect the metal, the inside components are not and excessive moisture can compromise the life of the heater. For a room like this I would recommend one of the ComPak Bath units, they are specifically designed for damp rooms like bathrooms and pool rooms (just make sure the unit isn’t in ‘splash range’).
