A must for switching from oil to gas
This burner came with everything you need, defuser plates, air bands, and gas nozzle that you just drill. Big fan of the primary control with the display, your able to adjust everything. Just follow the guidelines listed in the included book, then use your combustion analyzer for the rest. Please note you Must purchase a double acting barmometric damper, and a vent spill switch, both by field controls. Overall if you want to convert your oil boiler to gas, this is the burner for you.

Haven't installed it into the boiler yet but I did test it.
My main beef is that the gas line must enter on the left side. Another website said it was reversible so I bought it thinking that it was. Well, it is, if you're willing to void the warranty and modify it some. Real shame Carlin doesn't make feeding from either side easy! Carlin's orifice tube is pretty crude, Beckett looks to have a much better design for their orifice. The firmware in the controller makes you go into the setup mode in order to see the "Burn Time" (Valve on) hours. I'd rather that be available without having to enter the setup mode. Unless you have more than 3-4" of air tube insertion length be prepared for the motor to stick out an extra 6" more than the old oil burner. I'll be installing it into a Tarm 502 boiler now that my 30yr wait for natural gas service is over.

Cooking maple syrup with a 2'x4' evaporator with a Devided Flat pan .

The Company I work for..
I personally have installed over 15 of these burners and NEVER ( Knock wood) an issue. My only gripe is the gas inlet pipe should be designed to go left or right. If you alter this obviously you void the warranty. But it is one heck of a great burner quick and easy install.

I would buy from Supply House again!
I bought a Carlin Ez Pro Burner 10". It's a really nice quality product. Everything you need is in the box! Includes 2 air bands A,B & 9 slot diffuser plate and a field drilled orifice which you have to drill. I haven't hooked it up yet but I'm sure it's fine. Shipping was very fast!

Great tool to convert from oil to gas!!!
At $6 a gallon, fuel oil was no longer an option for me; I had seen the Carlin conversions, and figured It'd be a great way to convert without having all the work
of putting in a new gas boiler. As I had propane in the house already, it wasn't too big of a deal to run a 3/4" black pipe leg off the main feed for the EZ Gas Pro. My Smith boiler was in great shape, so the whole conversion took me about a full day. The installation instructions were first rate, so it was easy for this guy to set it up and get her tuned up. Well done, Carlin. And supply house too, for your FAST shipping!!!
I have 2 recommendations for improvements. 1st, offer a 8" tube, along with the 10" and 14" tube options. And 2nd, add a bung on the opposite side of the tube so you can install the gas valve optionally on the left or right side. Other than that, it is rock solid and keeping up quite warm.

From oil heat to Gas heat does not get easier than this!
This coming March 4 2023 Bernie will be 5 years old. No problem works great! If you are a Good wrench its pretty much plug and play. I installed it my self. i am a Truck Auto mechanic class A. Saves you thousands of dollars because you can use your old boiler if it is in good condition. My boiler was only 12 years old. SupplyHouse.com is the best!!! Great price for that burner and they have people that know what they are doing. Price is so good i thought about buying a burner for spare lol. But Bernie is doing such a great job one is enough. I looked inside of the boiler with my remote camera everything is nice and clean because natural gas burns much cleaner than oil. Great burner Great Price Supply House Great company!
