Ordered the Delta shower trim with Valve. The trim cam in without the valve. The valve arrived days later. This was upsetting

Shower Leak
Seems to be working after some clean up. Flushed the system as per instructions prior to installing the cartridge and all seemed to be working. After turning off and on a few times the shower would not shut off all the way. Pulled out the cartridge and found some rough areas in the ports from dried up white stuff. Had to get my fat fingers all the way up in there to clean up the burrs that were keeping the o rings from sealing properly. Wished I noticed this before it was installed...

This valve allows the installer to choose from 3 different trim kits.

Great concept, annoying mounting feet.
I love the concept of this system, separating the rough and the trim. And I like the valve. but the mounting feet are loosely attached soft brass... so if you have to tweak it the feet bend first. Not a big deal on new construction, distinctly irritating on remodels.
That said, I will continue installing these.
