An accordion style piece of SpeediChannel, the flex joint can be extremely flexible routing a SpeediChannel system around virtually any type of obstacle. Each joint is 20in. long and can be combined with a piece of Straight Speedichannel together for longer flex runs. Unlike competitor systems, the DiversiTech flex joint does NOT require the use of a union coupling. The DiversiTech flex joint slides tightly inside the SpeediChannel system.

230-FJ4 deterioration due to UV Exposure
This fitting is great in concept because it wraps around guttering and other things that traditional speedichannel cannot make its way around. For that reason I would give it a five star however within 2 to 3 years the entire fitting will be deteriorated exposing everything that was shielded by it due to UV light deterioration. In order to replace this fitting you would have to remove all of the refrigerant and all of the lines contain within all of the channel in order to slide a new fitting on it only to expect it to deteriorate in two years or three years again. I now have 4 cases on my installations and expect there to be more due to the volume of these fittings installed.

Good Solution
Flex joint helps connect straight channel around awkward angles. Great except that I had to split the flex joint lengthwise to install around my existing line set and joint ends cannot be "turned" front to fit up easily with straight channels on different surfaces

Q: Is this flex joint one solid piece or does it separate to allow for installation on a line that is already in use, with out having to disconnect the line to install the flex joint?
