Gets the job done...but not the easiest to install
This line set cover splits/opens into two "L" shaped pieces (instead of a flat cover and a "U" shaped piece. The main drawbacks are:
- if you choose to use expansion spray foam to insulate the vapor line side the channel, it is difficult to do a neat job (vs. a "U" channel where you could just knife off the overflow)
- it takes considerable force/effort to align and snap together the two pieces, especially if you use the entire 7' length as one piece

I bought these along with several corner pieces and couplings for a MrCool DIY heat pump installation. If I was to do it again, I'd buy a bigger channel because by the time I insulated the connections on the lineset, it was a tight fit. As other reviews mention, it is a struggle to get it to snap together but I did accidentally find a hack. I started snapping it together with the top of the outside part but not even with the back part of the channel, about halfway. I wrapped 2 zip ties around it to hold it while I moved down the ladder, and then pushed the outside of the channel up. To my delight, the zip ties forced the 2 pieces together! Then sliding the zip ties down had the same effect, so really I only needed to get about 18" started. I used 3 of these 6' pieces on this installation and it worked on all 3. The corner pieces and couplings are not exactly the same color as the channel, but close enough. Neither are bright white but that worked to my advantage.

They look good and the price is better than competitors. Getting the cover snapped on isn't as easy as others I've used, but after installing a few I was able to snap them on as easily as the others.

Looks sharp
Used this to replace the beat up old downspout that covered the line set for my mini split unit. Looks ten times better and was very easy to install, even over an existing line set. Would be nice if it came in longer lengths, I had to use two pieces with a coupling to make the 8 ft or so run.
