It leaks...but is very convenient
As another comment indicates, this test setup does leak. In my case it was the valve core and the gauge. Once I replaced them, all my tests held pressure. The 1" connection, for me, is much more adaptable for different testing applications and the schrader connection is super convenient.

Works like it is supposed to
Was going crazy because the gauge I had kept indicating 1 PSI loss of pressure a day. I went bust trying to find a leak. Finally thought I'd try a new gauge. Installed this one and haven't had ANY loss for over a week. Worked great!
